"SPS have successfully completed two projects, which include a 5 kWh (in 2011) and 142 kWh (in 2016) installation at the Two Oceans Aquarium. Both projects were designed and installed professionally and produce what was initially specified in their documentation. It was a pleasure working with SPS's design and installation teams. They got the job done with no fuss and kept us up to date every step of the way. I would have no problem in recommending them for any future works."
"Small-Island states face a unique challenge when it comes to converting to renewable energy. Their natural beauty, whilst being an asset as a tourist attraction, hides the fact that they have extremely fragile ecosystems, which are very vulnerable to climate change. They often rely on imported fossil fuel for energy, even if they may have the potential for producing their own renewable energy. St Helena is no different and the issue of energy on the Island is a risk to social mobility, fuel poverty, economic growth and the environment. Through partnership with Connect Saint Helena Ltd good progress has been made in terms of renewables. SPS has had a big influence thus far in assisting to get the island on the road to becoming 100% reliant on renewable energy. SPS was tasked to install three PV Solar Roof installations and one Ground Solar Farm on Island, thereby assisting the island in its quest to become more green energy reliant and helping to reach +- 28.8% of all the energy used in 2015 to 2017 being derived from renewables. The building of a solar systems on such a remote location was a big undertaking considering the constraints faced with the logistics of getting all the material here and isolation of the island, as all the materials had to be imported by boat, which could at times turn into a logistical nightmare when working in contractual time frames and availability of space on the boat. SPS overcome all constraints and delivered as promised."
"The size and nature of this solar installation required an EPC with the right credentials and experience, Atterbury is proud to be associated with a project and contractor of this nature."
