SPS is a portfolio company of Gridworks, part of British International Investment, the United Kingdom’s development finance institution.

SPS is 40% black-owned. Airnergize Capital is an impact-driven infrastructure fund launched and seeded by New GX Capital, a long-standing SPS shareholder, and RMB Ventures. New GX Capital, owned by Khudusela Pitje, is an active investor across the infrastructure.

Bolstered by funding provided by Gridworks and Airnergize Capital, SPS offers tailored financing solutions for green energy systems to established businesses across sub-Saharan Africa. SPS also partners with solar developers across the region, contributing proven engineering expertise in addition to flexible funding.
